Steinway & Sons Presents
Steinway & Sons has always taken pride in nurturing talent and promoting the art of piano playing. In that spirit, Steinway has developed a new program to reach out to young pianists at an early stage of their burgeoning careers. If your dream is to become a concert pianist like the legendary Rubinstein, Rachmaninoff, and Horowitz, or today’s superstars such as Lang Lang, Yuja Wang and Olga Kern, and Chopin Competition winners Martha Argerich and Krystian Zimerman, this opportunity is for you. Start your journey on the pathway to becoming a Steinway Artist.
In 2025, the inaugural class consisted of 60 students between the ages of 7-15, many of whom are in the top pre-college programs in the tri-state area. In 2027, we will welcome a new class of students and will be offering a special distinction to select applicants through the Future Young Steinway Artists Scholars Program, who will receive exclusive performance opportunities and special training. Applications will be available in the Spring of 2027.

“Being part of the Steinway FYSA program has profoundly shaped how I experience both music and myself. It has encouraged me to listen more intently, think more deeply about my interpretations, and cultivate a more authentic voice at the piano.”
